**What you will do:

**

  • Learn the process to produce metal closures learning from all areas of the production area
  • Supervise Union employees in the production of metal closures ensuring product quality, food safety, safety compliance and awareness, and teamwork
  • Learn and apply written safety procedures and observe work areas
  • Learn and apply SPC principles and basic quality tools (diagrams, flow/run/control charts, analysis, and etc.)
  • Learn and train in procedures to maximize productivity throughout. Manageequipment, enforce SOP's and standards
  • Develop and mentor employees. Direct and assign work, administer labor contract and compliance. Foster a positive workplace and communicate effectively

**What you will need to have:

**

  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Preferred experience in a union environment
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Excellent computer and communication skills
